I hope everyone enjoyed the Halloween celebrations. Being from Russia, I still can’t quite get into the full spirit of Halloween, but I’m doing better every year. In fact, I even brought my Joker mask to the inaugural FitExpo in San Diego to live it up a little. It’s much more fun when I don’t take it too seriously. Speaking of the FitExpo, it was absolutely amazing and a big part of the series of nonstop fit weekends at the end of the year.
It’s always a great experience doing the fitness seminars hosted by Shawn Ray along with the rest of my fitness family. The best part at this event was getting to listen to bodybuilding legend Frank Zane. The stories about his time competing were such a special experience.
It was also great fun working as a judge again for the Best Arms, Abs & Legs contest hosted by Roland Kickinger. This was the last stop on the 2018 tour for the FitExpo, and I’m so grateful to be able to travel all over the U.S. with the FitExpo team. As always, the biggest thank you goes out to everyone who came out to support us and take part in the seminars. It was lovely to see all of you and to share my training, nutrition, and supplementation knowledge with you.
That’s one of the main things I love about the FitExpo events; you’re not just sharing your knowledge and experience with the fitness community, but you’re also learning a lot of new things from other incredible people. Remember that the things you do can inspire others to be their best, too.
Next weekend, I’m going to Moscow with SAN Nutrition for the SN Pro, and I’m so excited to see all my fans and friends in Russia. I’m especially excited to share some exciting news with everyone there. I’ll be promoting the very first IFBB Pro League Show in Moscow, Russia in November of 2019 with my partner Center Podium Productions. I started my sporting career in Russia, so I feel a responsibility to give other Russians a better opportunity to earn an IFBB Pro card so they can compete at the highest level, like the Olympia in the U.S.
With all the fit weekends scheduled at the end of the year, I can’t wait to see you all soon.
