I absolutely love being able to travel all over the United States to share my experiences with everyone who loves living a healthy life. It doesn’t hurt that I get to spend time with my fitness family while I’m out there promoting the sport we all love so much.
I just came back from a blessed weekend at the FitExpo in San Jose where I had the opportunity to be a judge for the Best Abs contest hosted by Roland Kickinger. It was such a great experience, and I loved doing seminars along with my fitness family, including Jay Cutler, Skip La Cour, Danny Hester, Guy Cisternino, Regan Grimes, and Shawn Ray who was hosting. Being with them is always nice, but It’s also great to meet new friends and inspire one another.
My next stop will be in Anaheim from August 25 through the 26th with the FitExpo team again. If you’ll be around, don’t be shy… Stop by and ask me some questions.
I’ve been staying extremely busy with promoting my OG Pole Fitness Competition, training athletes, working on my acting career, and working on my own pole and acrobatic training. It’s funny that the one thing that always seems to help my body and mind recover during times like this is training with weights.
I have some advice I want to share with you: Put your phone down when you finish reading my blog post. Go to the gym, shift all your focus to your training, and feel your body working with every single rep. Don’t let anyone stop you or distract you during your workout, including family and friends. Don’t rush to finish your workout, and add some light cardio to the end of your workout to help speed up recovery. Then be sure to eat healthily, use high-quality SAN supplements, and drink a lot of water throughout the day.
Lastly, I wanted to share my recent interview for “Success Secrets from Sport” with Walt Grassl. I’ve received so much great feedback, and I didn’t realize how helpful it is to share my thoughts and experiences with other people who are dance performers or speakers. The interview goes over a lot of my story and how to work through stage fright. You can access the podcast with whichever of these links works best for you:
