I might be officially retired now and on my off-season, but that doesn’t mean I’ve taken any days off from the gym. I love what I do too much! People keep telling me to take some rest and eat some bad food, but that’s just not what I enjoy. I love the fitness lifestyle, from looking fit to constantly working on improving my skills. Believe it or not, I hate sitting around doing nothing but eating pizza.
Since I haven’t stopped training, my body is still recovering from the Olympia prep, and these are the supplements that help me recover more quickly: Dr. Feel Good multivitamin/mineral complex, Omega Flax Oil, Glucosamine Chondroitin with MSM, BCAAs, and protein. These items along with my diet and overall fitness lifestyle keep me fueled for my current training while helping me ensure that I’m recovering properly.
Now that the Olympia is over, I get to focus on something I’m very excited about. This will be my second year promoting my OG Pole Fitness Classic, and we’ll be part of the Ferrigno Legacy Flexpo. Chris Minnes, the Ferrigno Legacy promoter, was incredibly accepting of the ideas I have, so I’m super excited to be working with him.
The event is going to be something really special, and I’m also putting on an MJ dance class at the expo on November 19. It’s an aerobics dance class in the style of MJ and everyone is welcome to come, regardless of age or experience, so we’re going to have so much fun. I’m not entirely sure how I’ll be able to handle so much in two days, but I’m excited anyway, and that’s what really matters.
I’ve also just released Episode 6 of my Road to the Olympia 2017 series, and my family makes a fun appearance in the video, so please check it out below:
