I can’t believe it’s almost time to get on the Olympia stage again. Time flies by so fast! This year will be my 7th time competing in the Olympia, and every year feels like the first time.
All my thoughts are centered around my contest preparation right now, so I don’t have much time for anything else other than my acting class, which has been helping me a lot. I rarely see my friends or even talk with my family on the phone, but that’s all part of staying completely focused on the end results of all this hard work. It takes a lot of time and dedication, but you have to follow your passion, love what you do, and be prepared to work hard and sacrifice in order to achieve your goals.
The Olympia is a huge event for everyone who loves bodybuilding and fitness, and it’s a dream just to get on stage. Not everyone fully understands how demanding it is, or just how much hard work it takes to get there. Someone said to me recently,
“Oh, you are so lucky and I’m jealous of the life you have—competing at the Olympia and Arnold all the time, and traveling everywhere!”
LOL! I have no comment on this one, but I can tell you that it’s all your choice. If you want this life badly enough, make that choice! Be brave enough to try for what you really love, and don’t expect anything in return, but just do it!
I want to thank SAN Nutrition for their astounding support through all of my preparation. It’s so important to me right now, and they’ve helped me to work harder, recover faster, and achieve the results I need to be champion.
Work hard, stay strong, never give up!
Yours truly, Oksana.
