I hope everyone is doing well and working hard to reach your goals. One of the most common things I get asked is, “What specific ab exercises do you do?” I’m here to tell you my secrets on how to make your abs show…
The truth is, there are no secret exercises to make your abs show. I do the same ab exercises as everyone else: crunches, leg raises, etc. The real secret of how to make your abs show is having low body fat, so diet and cardio are what you need to make your abs show. Below is what I’m currently doing about three to four times per day.
Daytime: Weight workout or performance/acrobatic workout (alternating days between them)
Evening: Cyr wheel practice
Of course, I’m also very cautious and structured with my nutrition, but with the help of SAN supplements, I can handle the higher training volume. With all this extra work, quality supplementation is a huge support. To help me get through it and recover fully, and to make sure I’m properly nourished and full of energy, I use Premium Fish Fats, protein, CLA, L-Carnitine, Liver Support Formula, Tight, BCAAs, CM2 Supreme and Launch 4350 pre-workout formulas, Glucosamine Chondroitin, and Dr. Feel Good multivitamin/mineral complex. With the 2017 Arnold Classic just around the corner, my training is at its hardest, so I rely heavily on my nutrition and supplement schedule to get me through it all.
My 10th time at the Arnold Classic
As mentioned above, the upcoming Arnold Classic 2017 in Columbus, Ohio is just a matter of a few weeks away. This will be my 10th time competing in it!
I’m almost speechless. Even after this many years, every time I get on the Arnold stage is a dream come true. The opportunity to share a performance that I’ve created with such a big audience, and feeling the appreciation – it’s what I live for!
I’m ecstatic to bring my newest performance to the Arnold stage, and only god knows just how difficult it’s been to finally see my routine come together as a single performance. This year’s performance means a lot to me, and I’ll do my very best, as always, in hopes that everyone enjoys it.
There’s still a lot of work ahead to put all the elements together, plus there’s the work on my costume, and I’m continuously building up my stamina. Thanks to all who’ve been following my progress, and thank you for your support. It means a lot to me, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all in Ohio.
