It’s no secret that sticking to a strict diet can be tough at times. Whether I’m dieting for a competition or on a more relaxed eating plan, I always love to have some sweet treats to look forward to once in a while. Of course, I like to keep the treats as health as possible, and I try to make sure I’m still getting a good amount of protein so there’s good nourishment and less guilt at the same time. That’s why I came up with this delicious recipe for peanut butter protein balls.
You can swap out flavors of protein to suit your own taste, but you have to at least try the combination listed below. These are different for peanut butter protein balls, but they’re exotic and super tasty. Plus, whatever flavors you decide to use, they’re pretty quick and easy to make.
- 2 tablespoons P28 White Chocolate peanut butter
- 1 scoop Banana Coconut Titanium Whey
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Chocolate chips (as many as you want)
- 1/2 cup oats
- Mix all ingredients together and separate into balls
- Place evenly spaced on a tray (wax paper can make them easier to lift when ready)
- Let them chill in the fridge for 10 minutes
- Add coconut flakes as desired
As you can see, you don’t need a whole lot of ingredients or time for these peanut butter protein balls, and when you’re done, you have a super tasty treat that’s both delicious and nutritious. Letting them chill for at least 10 minutes will allow them to set to a nice consistency. Letting them chill a little longer can be even better, but good luck waiting that long to dig in.
Enjoy and let me know what you think.
