It’s been a busy few weeks! It’s feeling like all I do is travel, compete, celebrate, repeat – but I’m not complaining! First of all, I want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes and kind words. I had such a blessed birthday weekend, and I love you all. Thank you for making my big day so special with all your wonderful birthday greetings.
After a fantastic weekend in Australia, where I won the Arnold Classic fitness competition at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center, I’ve stayed busy with my training and training my clients. I also had a short visit to Italy for a photo shoot with the great training equipment company Panatta Sport.
The team there was full of great people, and we had a great time at the shoot. The only bad part of the trip was that I lost my luggage on the way to Italy, so I had nothing with me. Oh, and I got horrible food poisoning before the shoot, but it was great other than that. LOL! The Panatta team was great the whole time, and they helped me get everything I needed. With the disciplined diet and clean eating leading up to all my recent competitions, I have no doubt my body was just more sensitive to viruses, proving that it’s always important to eat food from sources you trust or just make your own meals.
I was honored that Mr. Panatta took me on an unforgettable tour of his factory where everything started, and we also got a tour of his home (more like a museum, including the very first muscle magazine from 1902), and so much more. This was a trip I’ll never forget.
I also had a great photo shoot recently with my SAN teammate Diego Sebastian. Boris Ivanov was the photographer, and the shoot was an incredible experience. We didn’t expect the photos to turn out so great, but I’m so thankful that Boris persisted with his idea. The results were brilliant, as always, and you can find some of them on my social media pages (listed below).
Next up is my trip to Germany for the FIBO Power Expo, and I’m so excited to get out there to see my friends and fans in Europe. It’s like having family there, and I only get to see them once a year, so it’s a wonderful opportunity since I miss them all so much.
Thank you so much to Team SAN for giving me this opportunity. I’m looking forward to seeing and visiting with everyone. If you’ll be in Cologne, Germany from April 7-9, please come by and see me at the SAN booth.
