I first started practicing yoga a few years ago because of my obsession with all things fitness. I love all avenues of fitness, so I’m always down to try something new. As a figure competitor in bodybuilding, it’s so important to be flexible, for training and especially on the day of a contest. That’s why I became a bodybuilding yogi.
After practicing yoga for a few years, I got a bit bored until I discovered my new toy; the yoga wheel got me to fall in love with it all over again. If you have no interest in yoga or this wheel, you might want to reconsider. I’ve found this to work better than a foam roller for rolling out your entire body.
For the past few months, I’ve been using the wheel every night after training and before bed, and I’ve noticed a definite improvement in how my spine feels throughout the day and how well I’ve been sleeping at night. Along with that, I’ve also noticed that taking ElixAir hGH before bed has improved my overall sense of well-being, giving my body what it needs to help support healthy hormone levels.
The yoga wheel: What is it?
The yoga wheel is a circular shaped prop that helps with advanced yoga poses, and it helps you work on flexibility. It’s also good for prehab (proactive injury prevention) and back pain reduction. The wheel makes it easy to completely stretch the entire front side of your body: hip flexors, abdomen, chest, and shoulders.
The wheel will also massage the entire length of your spine in a safe but deep way. It’s really a fantastic tool to help reverse our culture of sitting too much, which leads to rounding your shoulders forward. Here’s how you can use the yoga wheel to open and stretch the front body:
Massage the spine
- While seated on the ground, bring the wheel directly behind you to connect with your lower back
- With your feet straight and planted out in front of you, bring your arms overhead and begin to roll back and forth on the wheel slowly until your head meets the ground, using your hands for support
- After that, get into the child’s yoga pose on the floor
In good health,
